Not really monitor related but need help telling what this component is called

 So I bought a broken DS lite understaning the power switch was shot and the top screen shattered but upon opening it up to repair them I had 2 components of the motherboard roll out.

the top one was marked 220 and the bottom one is marked 100

I put a red sqaure box in these pics to show where they are located on the board and also if you notice that are the same parts in the same place but there is 2 different shape's but they are the same part.

I need to know what those are called and where to get some.

I dont think it is going to work right without them either 





any insight would be great also are they fairly easy to get with a regular 15-watt solder iron or are they going to be a pain in the bum and need a smd setup

Take it to your local electronics store. Not Radio Shack. Likely you'll need a special iron and tip for that.

surface mount inductors .

as long as the wire is intact , resoldering to the pcb should be easy enough ( pending ur soldering skills  )

Cool Thanks for the info.

 I was not sure what you meant by the wire though as their is none on them parts unless you meant the trace on the board hat runs to the legs.

 It is weird it is like the plastic, ceramic or whatever it is fell off these parts becuase the feet on the bottom of these are still stuck on the board it woud be like knocking a capicitor off but the 2 legs are still in the board intact perfectly but the whole cap shell come off 

 I am great at soldering and do have the skill but not sure if I had the right tool for the job but worst case I will run a wire to the leg points on the board and connect the wire's to the replacement parts leads and hot glue them in a safe spot that they will fit if I do need some expensive tool.

and it could be just a shielding cap that fell off........

just those two parts in the red box's are off and everything else seems fine and still on there good.

 I could understand if the solder was bad and the whole part including the smd solder pads came off but they were still attached to the board firmly it is almost like these just popped off their solder mounts somehow either that or they got so hot it melted the guts of them right off the legs.

I dunno but should be all set now that I know what to look for and what there called
