Monitor help? inside golden tee cabinet
« on: December 02, 2008, 01:55:00 pm »
Sorry, this is my first post.
I have been reading and reading all over these forums.
I have just bought a golden tee 04 working cabinet and i am not sure what kind of resolution my monitor is? On the chasis it says that to replace with chasis with k7500.  So i am assuming that is a wells gardner 25", there is a sicker on the board that says WG 1789690.  I aslo see that the tube has a sicker on it from hitachi and the the bottom piece has a sticker from sanyo.  Does this mean that the monitor was fixed beore? Also need to know if this monitor is standard or med resolution? If it is med resolution how would i go about connecting to my computer, Sorry one more question, Can i aslo split the monitor inputs to keep both the golden tee 04 and have mame as well.  \

Thank you in advance for any help is greatly appriciated.

Sounds like you have a 25K7500 which is medium resolution only.

Okay, then would I connect the monitor still using an arcadevga board, or is there another way.  As for splitting video inputs could this be possible if i use a DPDT switch to control both computer and golden tee board and have the power to the monitor from both sides of the switch?
