map alt+F4 with Ipac?
« on: June 19, 2003, 04:52:01 am »
I have a cabinet that uses an Ipac keyboard encoder and was wondering if there was anyway to map a button press to execute Alt+F4.  I'm looking for an easy way to close front ends which don't allow mapping of keys.  ie. Mame32 and Emucon.

Player 1 Button 2 is already mapped to alt. So all you have to do is add a button for F4 and press alt plus F4. I wasn't using Player 1 Button 8 so I mapped it to F4.

Or you can create a macro. Eg..when you press "x" it executes "alt+F4". There are some free programs around the net you can download to do this.
