This next release is going to be massive...  This next release will put HyperSpin on par functionality wise as most other FE's out.  It should also contain many many requests that have been made since release.  Including full joystick, trackball, spinner support.  Text wheel lists and many many many more updates.

Oh, also it should allow (might not make this release) for multiple systems on one menu.  IE: Mix Daphne, Zinc, MAME, etc. games all on a single menu.

You forgot to mention Fyrecrypts who created and maintains the HiToText project! Anyway nice to see some innovation happening in FE's and it's good to see people are finally seeing the potential of the HiToText project. I like seeing new ideas and have had a few chats to BBB about some of the new featues coming to HS and they sound great. I know quite a few people will be really happy to see the joystick support too.

Hope you can answer a few questions.  I have looked at Hyperspin, but was waiting for a second release so that there will be some bugs ironed out.

When is the release expected?

Will it support U360's?

What emulators will it support (Mame, Vpinball, Daphne, etc)?

No it doesnt.

It seemingly only supports the external hiscore deal that is not the hiscore of the game itself.

Mame (depending on version) and mameui64 have full hiscore capabiility and no issues...
(the each-game hiscore that most games already have).

thats the only hiscore I would be interested in... and if hyperspin cant handle that, then I will likley dump HS in favor of the crappy alternatives, or even just run mame or mameui64 as is...

Bummer I spent good amt of time getting hyperspin to work beautifully and then relized that hiscores were not working unless i did it with f7/alt-f7.

If it works that way, then it should work automatically.
Btw if the rom/game can or doesnt handle it, then exit out of the f7/alt-f7.

Hi score saving in MAME via HyperSpin works fine.
