Mame marquee backgrounds
« on: November 19, 2008, 01:10:15 am »
Does anyone know where I can find the backgrounds from the various MAME marquees. I'm talking about the ones with the blue MAME and then stars, fire, or an explosion in the background.
I have my own graphic text and images that I want to use, but cant find an empty background to put them with.

I created the last one on your list and I have the original Photoshop files with all elements separate.  I based it on the second one on your list,  from the Oscar website, took his MAME logo and replaced the background with the starfield from Galaga and then built the explosion out of 3 or 4 separate pieces from different Photoshop plugins.  I sent it to Oscar to show him the end result and he posted a jpg version on his website.  I guess it's been pretty popular as I've seen several photos of Mame systems that used the marquee design...
