Wells-Gardner 25" K7193 - no red
« on: November 17, 2008, 10:13:58 pm »
I have a Lethal Enforcers II cabinet with a Wells-Gardner 25" K7193.  The game works fine, except that it's not displaying Red.  Green, Blue, White, and Black are all displaying fine.  I'm a total newbie, any ideas where to start?

Some other things:
-There's a small green patch on the right side of the screen, I assume I just need to degauss it.
-When running a color test, the speakers will buzz while displaying every color except white. Not sure if this means anything.
-The guns work fine except for where the above mentioned green patch affects the screen.

Any help is much appreciated.

Have you checked the color inputs wires to the monitor from the game board?
You can swap two colors around to verify if it's the monitor or not.
Could also check the neck board for any bad solder joints.
Not a technician . . . . just a DIY'er.
