Latest Project: Shuffle Alley!
« on: November 10, 2008, 09:04:37 am »
My wife has now announced that any game buying is on hold till I get this thing finished (And the others in the garage), but I think it was worth it:

For some reason the previous owner felt the need to strip all the paint off the cabinet so I'll be busy making new stencils off of the few photos I've found on the net of this thing.

Operationally it's close to running, most of the reset circuit is working but there are some '0' switches that need cleaning and most of the score reels are gummed up.

Those are cool and fun for all ages.
I passed one up awhile back and could kick myself for it now.

My kids play my shuffle alley regularly.  It's fun.
Well, that's where we go a-ridin' into town, a whampin' and whompin' every livin' thing that moves within an inch of its life. Except the women folks, of course.

Ive never played an old one like that, but the relatively new ones were kinda neat. Nice break from all the pins and video games at Indiana Beach. Fun in groups for sure.

In the same category as skeeball, though that's not the same anymore because the machines are so small compared to me now.
