Does MAME emulate all NEO Geo Games?

If so is what is the reason to have a Neo Geo Emulator and the associated roms?

Well, to my knowledge, MAME doesn't let you play AES (home console) Neo Geo roms, only MVS (arcade). That's one major reason right there.

I checkd the game name (some variation of the above game names did not check above rom name) against maws and they ALL SHOW UP!

I don't know yet if there is a switch to turn the game into console mode (i.e. pressing start instead of inserting coin) but will check as soon as I make a hypersin xml for the neo geo list.

So no need for a separate emulator as they all play through mame according to maws!

(good news for hyperspin users like myself looking to fill up another wheel!)

The only game that doesn't work on a recent version of MAME is NeoPong - which is a homebrew.
Works fine in other emulators though.

I'm told on good authority that it doesn't work on real hardware either.  It was made in an emulator, and never tested on a real cartridge.
