polo 1 silly question

Ok..... I am putting my 25'' polo 1 chassis back on the frame after capping and trace repair, where does the black wire from monitor with a quick connect attach to? I forgot where it goes
What is it? ground or degauss?
Should it go on the neck board or the chassis.
If you need a pic I can snap one later

if you are talking about the black wire that goes from the earth braid of the tube with the spade type terminal then it goes to the neck card
