It is EL Glow wire, though you cant see it in the daytime pic, (I think it might not have been attached then), but the wire is attached somehow to the pipes.

If I stood out in the street at night and saw that coming my way, I'd think the Bishop of Battle finally found me and I would let loose my bowels just before going completely mental.

Is there glow in the dark paint?

I think if that was done with just the PVC and glow in the dark paint, it would have looked better.  It looks too squishy when it's dark.

It looks too <not straight> when there's light.

Yeah, some sorta EL wire or such.
Definitely NOT the PVC itself. (paint or otherwise)

Not a technician . . . . just a DIY'er.

That would make a cool halloween mask, it you could make it out of EL wire.

I wonder if you'd be able to see at all with all those lightsources so close to your eyes.

i was gonna say, it'd make a great mask, that you'd wear for about a minute before it really pissed you off, and for me i reckon there'd be a headache thrown in, its very bright stuff up close

Youd just have to worry about the area around the eyes being too bright.
Maybe some kind of a blinder or shade?

Who builds a tank that doesn't have a working cannon?
Back in MY day we lived on the moon and we had to build a rocket ship from scratch to get to the Earth before we suffocated.
