Capcom Impress 29
« on: October 27, 2008, 02:46:35 pm »
Hey everyone. Im hoping someone here has this cabinet as well and can point me to some needed info.

Ive had this cab for about 7 years now. When I first got it, i gutted it and  converted it to a mame cab.
About a year ago, the monitor started acting a little funny. Just some occasional waves here and there.
Nowdays, the waves are really bad. Its never still and I can hear a high pitched whine from the cabinet when the monitor is on.
I used it in windows a lot with hacked blade drivers. Is this what killed it?

If i just need to re-cap it, that shouldnt be a problem if someone can tell me what kind of monitor ive got.
If i just need a new monitor all together, thats fine too if someone can tell me what will fit.

Thanks everyone!

edit: here are some pics of somebody elses impress monitor.
What are the chances its the same one?

I have this cabinet at home.  I also have the manual that came with it, I can check it for monitor information.

Links aren't working, but I know that's Tetsu69's site. Doesn't seem to show much in the last year or so. Would like to see some pics of your cab, especially in action, once you get it sorted out, gir.

Hey, H, I'm curious to know if your manual has monitor info.
