New 4-player project
« on: October 24, 2008, 05:28:52 pm »
Here's the start of a new project I recently got working on.  The panel will be set on a pedestal (which I haven't constructed yet) and hooked up to a 40" or 42" wall-mounted plasma.  I'm still doing research on the best TV to get and hope that prices come down for the holidays.

Mameroom supplied the panel kit, Mamemarquees the CPO, Groovygamegear the sticks and buttons and I'll be hitting Ultimarc up for the encoders and trackball.  I'll also be getting a spinner and 4-way stick soon.  At first, I thought I was going to regret the decision to ditch my previous idea of lighting all the buttons, but I'm pretty happy with the way things are looking so far.

It'll probably take a couple of months to get finished, but I'm trying to chip away at it a little at a time....
