I have to say, this is the most entertaining show on TV right now. I look forward to it more than any other show. Monday's ep was really, really good. Anyone in my age group who went to high school in the late 90's, this show is made for you!

Nicole Ritchie was a guest star in the ep, and I was pretty surprised at how well it worked out. I don't think it was really her acting, but more about the skill of the director in crafting her performance.

Anways, for anyone not watching this show - you are missing out! Even I thought the show premise was retarded when it was first advertised, but Buffy and Angel were the same way. Look how those shows turned out.

I liked the show when it first came out, but I am finding myself less and less interested.  The chicks are hot plain and simple.  Its the on again off again relationship with Chuck and the hot blonde.  I understand that part of the dynamic of the show is their "relationship", but it goes back and forth to fast.  Gets old.  Their no Ross and Rachel :dizzy:

Ross and Rachel was the absolute worst part of friends IMO. Both me and the wife could not stand either of those characters. Monica and Chandler FTW!

If you order a pizza, put 1 quarter in their Galaga and the pizza's done before you are, you might be a video game junkie.. if you offer to tweak the crt , definitely.

Chuck has been moved to the summer for me and the wife along with Terminator.  Mondays at 8 are ridiculously crowded because we watch Gossip Girl and How I Met Your Mother as well.... and almost nothing else the rest of the week except for The Office and a couple others...  We decided to move several shows to the summer in order to free up time during the regular TV season.

The missile command chuck was hilarious.

"We've got a kill screen coming up!"

My wife kept telling me to shut up with my comments.
But wasn't it fun to think you won the lottery, just for a second there???

I'd have to say Season 1 was much more enjoyable.  Something lacking in the sophomore season.  Might be the on again, off again as mentioned earlier.

I got all the episodes from season 2 and started watching them the other day.

I just finished the Missile command episode and it was great.

A bit bogus on some stuff but who cares, it was TV AND the entire show's premise was based on Atari and Missile Command!!! In addition, they slammed a Zune in the process!!!

The episode Sharidan was referring to was very good, too. I wasn't expecting much from Ritchie or Boy Meets Hand...but it was a good episode for sure.

Great show if anyone hasn't seen it yet.

I'm hoping they break the magical 7 million viewers mark next ep. They have been increasing fairly steadily in viewership the last few weeks.

Damn I love this show! It is not clear at all if the show will be picked up for a 3rd season, which is sad. NBC Execs are on record saying they love the show. CW main exec says they want the show if NBC drops it.

The Subway pops were a bit painful, but I understand why they are there in this downloading age.

Anyways, this weeks episode I swear had all the feel of a series finale. It was perfect, and if the show never came back on I would be satisfied. However, there is one more ep this season! Once again, I implore you folk in the near 30 age group to give this show a go this summer.

I agree that its a very entertaining show, however the main thing that keeps bugging me is how everyone he meets in the show (whether its an old friend/flame, new girlfriend, long lost father, friends boyfriend, etc.) is either a spy or working for a spy.

We live in an unsafe world...  Or rather Chuck does.  :dunno  Really though, I dig the show.  Been watching since the beginning and always look forward to the new episode.  Always have a laugh and Sarah is quite easy on the eyes.  There's a lot of nerd stuff in it which, who are we all kidding, we can relate to and doesn't every boy want to be a spy or a cop or something like that at some point?

As for everyone being or working for a spy.  Well, you find that sort of stuff in almost every show.  It's like bombs in 24.  Really?  Can there be this many mad men with access to high explosives living in a single city?  I guess you just have to look over things like that in shows otherwise they would be movies.

And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

There was an unofficial report on EZTV that Chuck will be getting a 13 episode 3rd season. Very cool news if true - which I think it is.

Show creator came out and denied the rumors of a confirmed 3rd season. This, of course, means it is 100% true.  ;)

The wife and I like it.  We have about 8 episodes on the Tivo left to watch out of this season.

It was a great ep, and I agree the ending was predictable - even the twist. Many of the eps are entirely predictable though. Still the best show on TV!

To temper the disappointment of the Terminator cancellation, we also received the great news that Chuck has been renewed! YAY!!!  :applaud: :applaud: :applaud: :applaud:

It is the expected 13 episode renewal, always with the possibility of a full pickup. You may remember that season 2 was only a half season pickup that was changed to a full season a few eps in.

The bad news is that the Chuck staff had to agree to some budget concessions. Mainly, a yet to be named supporting cast member will not be returning. Also, appearances of the general supporting cast (aka: Buy More crew) will be cut back.  Maybe they'll just kill off that un-named cast member in a dramatic way to start the season. I would rather that then just having them disappear. The on/off writing of Ana's character was more than a bit annoying. Hell, she's probably the person being dropped from the show.
