MAME32UI and CHD

I having problems with CHD files.
What am I doing wrong.. I have my rom folder on E:\mame\roms
I let the CHD file zipped and extract the CHD file to E:\mame\roms\gamename\
When I open the game I still get error messages
In this case:
i
kuragi.bin not found
error required files are missing, the game cannot be run.

What am I doing wrong, I am I not placing the rom in the right way?

Kuragi.bin is not a chd

So, you're missing a rom.
Start searching.

CHD is the compressed Harddisk file. Still need a ROM image for it to work. Still for me, I have never been able to find the proper ROM file for any CHD I got... So no CHD based games (area51) for me until I find the right matchup....

Try going to your favorite rom source and look for a .zip with the same main name as the CHD, or google the CHD filename but with a .zip ending.

Ive gotten the roms (.zip) and a CHD for a game before, but the versions were incompatible with either each other, or the version of MAME I was using.

Outside of that, I cant give you any specific sites where to get this stuff. It would make Saint sad.

Ohhh. Most of the 'mainstream' rom sites, though free, aren't updated. I think because most people aren't using the latest version of Mame. These sites often don't have CHD nor bios file, either. Seems there's a handful only that match all these criteria.

That is so true. Once upon a time, it was easy to find. Now, you need "local knowledge"...

The rules didn't seem to say, but i'm guessing this place doesn't allow links to rom sites.

Hint: If you're after a full set, do some searching in torrent-land.

well you know rom land is a [romsite name hint redacted], so use your [romsite name hint redacted] to find it, also its a [romsite name int redacted], maby a [romsite name hint redacted] but i dont know for sure.  it helps to if you have a bittorrent program installed. i use utorrent btw
