where to buy a 29in chassis? And vga to cga converter

I wonder where can i find brand new chassis for a 29 in monitor, its for a aero city Japanese cab. Also the part that goes inside and has 3 rings and allot of coil would be nice too, I'm looking to make this monitor look new again.
And about the VGA to cga converter, have anyone tested this thing? are they better then the arcadevga to display windows? i want to use one not for Mame but to display windows at a good quality in a arcade monitor. Thanks for any help

I'm not sure about the rest of your query though.  Your vga-cga converter (scan converter?) sounds like a waste of time unless you have a very specific reason for using it.  They give somewhat crap results from the way they compress video modes into a single TV mode (eg NTSC 480p) etc.

just get a trisync monitor complete, probably end up the same cost and then you get 31khz without needing a converter.

if you can only get a flat tube then you can purchase a filler bezel from happ controls
i would check www.niemandisplays.com first though as i believe he does 29" tri sync curved tube

long history, to make,it a bit short , i blew up the yoke, so some guy installed a used one for me, about the chassis the picture doesn't hold, it goes down to up and also the screen its not filled all the way to the sides, the guy could not fix the chassis and he installed a different one just for now, the chassis was a ms8-29s and i still have it with me, its just that the technician told me it was better to install a new yoke and chassis too, that's why I'm looking for the best way to fix this.
About the converter I'm looking into displaying windows on a arcade monitor with a nice quality.

Sounds like the new yoke is not specced right for your monitor chassis.

I think Toshiba, NEC and Panasonic TV tubes can be used as replacements for Nanao tubes.  You might be able to find one in the dump, or get a cheap old 2nd hand TV.  So, just change the complete tube (and yoke, together) and attach it to your old Nanao ms8-29s chassis.  They are a good quality arcade monitor.

If you have the original yoke's vertical and horz impedance values (measure resistance of the yoke coils with an ohmmeter, or maybe someone on this forum can help), then you can confirm the replacement tube/yoke compatibility by comparing these values between the old and the new.  From memory, Nanao 29" yokes have quite low resistance, especially on the horz yoke coil.

I have a Nanao MS8-29 here, so I can measure these yoke impedance values for you if noone else has them handy.  I'd just have to get into the back of one of my arcade cabs first.

there is a width jumper and width coil for the size problem
also there is a sync switch and 2 different sync input to correct the rolling problem
