Pac-Man
« on: June 14, 2003, 06:03:39 pm »
I run pseudo patterns at fast speed myself. I can get to the 8th key 11th key 16th key on normal Pac and the second bread 1st pancakes tenth pancakes on Pac-Man Plus.

I am actually at the point now where I am scoring higher on average with Pac-Man Plus than I am with Pac-Man. It is probably the fact that the  bonus fruits act as double score power pellets. Of course after the 9th pancakes they stop doing that, but they still make the ghosts change directions.

Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I'm more of a level 3 or 4 guy myself.  I don't know what it is.  I LOVE my games, but I suck horribly at them.

Pac-Man actually gets easier once you can reliably get to the apple stage. The ghosts behaviors change frequently up to the apple stage, after that they stay mostly the same for the rest of the game.

And then bordom strikes :P Great game though... after about 3 hours; I am gone.

I hear that.  But for me it's usually around level 3 or 4 :)

Assuming you have the ROMset 'pacman.zip' along with it's parent 'puckman.zip' in your ROMs folder, it IS a clone, per se, as, believe it or not, Puck-Man was the original.

They changed the name to Pac Man because they were afraid Puck Man would get a horrible nickname..... Hmmm What rhymes with Puck Man?
