Screenshots not updating in MAME(using MameWah)
« on: October 03, 2008, 02:05:37 pm »
Well, they will update (using the default F12 key) if there is no screenshot for that particular game, but what I'm trying to do is "overwrite" certain screenshots. Pressing F12 does nothing in such cases. Aside from manually removing a specific game's screen shot, any ideas?

Thanks in advance :)
So a leper walks into a bar and as he gets his beer, a finger falls off. The bartender who is serving him turns and pukes all over the place. The leper, feeling bad, says, "Was it my finger falling off?" The bartender turns to him and says, "No, it's the guy dipping chips into your back."

Look up -snapname in docs/config.txt that comes with mame.  You'll want "%g" or "%g/%g" (depending what you have set now), I think.

Thanks, but I could not find any mention of "-snapmame" in any of the .txt fies within the "docs" folder .. in fact, there is no "config.txt" file there.  ???

You probably are using an older version of mame then.  (What version number?)

If that's so, sorry, can't do much.  You could press F12, and then exit mame and look at the snapshots, renaming the one you want to the gamename.
