Street Fighter art wanted
« on: September 29, 2008, 05:02:56 pm »
Look for a site with some I high rez street fighter art. Working on a Cab called Hadouken having a hard time getting art I like in a good rez.

If any one knows any place I would appreciate it.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

What sort of look are you after? There's tons of SF art out there, so if you want help, we need an idea where to start.

If I got something with the whole cast together for the side art.
I would like to cover as much as the side cab as possible.

The marquee has  Ken and Ryu throwing Hadoukens.

All I really need is some good side art of the whole gang. There is great art out there like the anniversary box art just cant find any in a higher rez.

You can probably get some custom art done for you over at the image section of shoryuken.com if you ask nicely.

But not TOO nicely, just act like you don't even care if they do it or not and you'll get more respect.  Lot of tough guys over there.

Not as tough as Jack Burton, though, right?

David Lo Pan doesn't stand a chance.

Well, you know what Ol' Jack always says....

What the hell.

I'm actually surprised so many people recognize the name.

Same place I always recommend:

Kawaii Art Zone

Find pics of the characters you want, extract them from their backgrounds and compile them into a group shot.

If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Hmmm...  I find it to be very oraganized an yes, you should register.  One of the best sources out there, IMO.

Fantastic!!
I'm currently only building an individual custom stick, but obviously will eventually knock up a cab. Would you mind me using that as a marquee??
