XML index " out of range" Error in Maximus

When I'm loading Maximus I get this error and the program freezes.I restart Maximus and it loads but obviously I can't get the xml lists to work (list by number of players etc.).

Help would be appreciated!

PS I'm using command line mame.exe and I created the xml file by inputting this at the command prompt:

c:\mame -listxml >mame.xml
