Try this:

daphne.exe ace vldp -blank_searches -min_seek_delay 1000 -seek_frames_per_ms 20 -homedir . -bank 0 00000000 -bank 1 00000001 -sound_buffer 2048 -fullscreen

Or, and easier way is to grab AtomicFE, and my Daphne Plug and Play module...

tried the command line

it loads and then says cant find frame file ace.txt

i looked in the framefile dir. there is a file called ace_framefile.txt
i renamed it to ace.txt

then i loaded again

now it plays all the movies very fast after each other

then the intro starts and i cant do anything.

I don't know why you'd use the cmd for Daphne, at least with MA. Just program all your games via DaphneLoader, select that for the exe in MA - bang it automatically finds everything - click okay in the MA manager, and off you go to play!

So MA generates a MS list for all the games, or are you saying point to DaphneLoader and then use DaphneLoader to choose the game?

Well here is a simple loader that should work with any FE:

http://www.filesend.net/download.php?f=d71054c3e091f23f809cb63b59600da3

1. Extract it into your Daphne folder
2. Run DaphneLoader.exe & configure your games, on each game under the Advance tab enable Display Command line
3. In Daphne Loader click Start, you will see the command line that is to be used....copy everything but "daphne.exe ", and past it into My_Daphne_Loader.ini as a new line of text.
4. At the start of each line enter a name you wish to use to reference this game...followed by a equals sign "="
5. After copying the command line click Cancel.
6. Create a folder full of dumby text or batch files that have matching names as to what you used in the INI file
7. Direct your FE to use My_Daphne_Loader.exe as the executable, & your folder full of dumby files as your Rom folder.
8. Your FE command line should look something like:

My_Daphne_Loader.exe "[ROM]"

Now if everything goes right...your game of choice will be playing, to exit over course Esc will do the trick but also if you are using Gamepads\Joysticks you can also exit with the joystick\POV in the upper left hand corner & buttons 4, 5 & 6 all held at the same time.

With Maximus Arcade, all you have to do is configure every game in the DaphneLoader.exe program (comes with Daphne).  Once everything is the way you like it and it runs properly in Daphneloader, you simply configure Maximus Arcade by pointing it to the Daphneloader.exe file.

Done.

Yeah, like re-iterated by DeL. (The order stated by both of us makes it quite obvious I would think.) I mean, it's so quick and easy to check: select Daphneloader as the exe in the MA manager - don't even care about any particular game's settings, just leave them default for the moment - and then close/save and run a game. That will show it works. Then, if you want to specify games' settings, go and do it in Daphneloader.
