Threats on the internet are so laughable. I seem to really be bringing out the psychos lately. (And despite what you may have heard, they don't explode in sunlight, no matter how crazy they are.)

Didn't even have to do that. Way too many people have no idea how to verify any information they see. I've college I wrote a program that culled real addresses from a database (eg a sports stadium) and generated fake credit card numbers for hitting back at phishers. Hell, there's even a website dedicated to generating, not only fake addresses, but fake names, emails, websites, S.S.#, phone numbers, tracking numbers, the whole gambit. And not a single ---tallywhacker--- I've ever presented the information to ever double checked it.

The topic has been broached in the past and the consensus was that people who abused it would have the ability removed.  Not sure this one qualifies as abuse since the references removed were someplace else.

When I started this thread, I thought I'd just point out how stupid the troll was (and how stupid I was to argue with her), then I thought she didn't deserve the attention, now I'm not even sure if she's a troll or if she really is out for attention (by viewing her post history in other topics). I just wanted the topic to go away, but the harder you try to keep attention off a thread, the more it draws

I'm 99% sure that Saint can taken the ability to edit posts away from individual users.  I'm pretty sure it's happened already.

I'm aware, but this thread wasn't deserving of such a request. If someone finds the troll stuff funny, then that's great. I'm sure most people have had enough of this sort of crap online, though. Internet anonymity makes people say and do a lot of stupid things.

Typically I only use MODIFY to correct mistakes or add information. There is the occasional retraction (I'm sure you've seen plenty of times where I remove a wrong answer I've given and call myself out on it)

Listen to SithMaster, my fraternity figured out to get past the hole. Once you get to the "bottom" the hole repeats over and over again. I could have gotten out 3 million (a guy in the Sigma Chi house did) but I was so bored I couldn't take it anyore.
