Kortek kt-1901a DEAD
« on: September 21, 2008, 11:53:28 pm »
I have a few of these monitors in the shop. When you plug them in they will not produce any high voltage. Heaters do not light. Fresh cap kits (complete) were in stalled Along with new HOT transistors q201 and q202 if I remember correctly. I don`t think the flyback is my problem. I am kinda new at this and was wondering if any one had some words of wisdom for me :dizzy:

some kortek schematics here :  http://slot-tech.com/interesting_stuff/kortek/

assuming the 1901 is part of the "KTXX01 family". 1st verify smps operation . i.e. have all secondary voltages ?
Grrr....!   this schematic does NOT use component reference numbers. which will make it difficult to advise specific
parts for u to check  :banghead:

well, have a look and see if this print corresponds to what u have,  and we'll go from there ....somehow   :-\
