What arcade games have a decent MAME monitor?
« on: September 21, 2008, 08:28:55 pm »
I want to upgrade the monitor in my MAME cab.  It currently has an old 19" Wells Gardner.  Most of all I want something bigger but it would also be nice to have the option of higher resolution (though I will probably never play Windows games).  I have semi decided on a 27" Betson multisync but as you probably know they are not cheap.  Are there some arcade games that use a similar monitor?  I've seen a couple Golden Tee's on Craigslist for less than the price of that new monitor.  Are there specific games I should look out for that have a 25-27" medium res monitor?  Are there any differences in the 2 I should be concerned with?  Full games have been super cheap on Craigslist and I figure I could probably sell the boards on ebay after I gut the monitor.
