Ok, probably been done a few times before, and covered in other threads, but what are your fav horrors / thrillers of the 80's:

Here are mine:

. The Fog
. The Thing
. Jaws

Over to you!!

Well considering you already broke your "80's" rule by including Jaws (1975), I'll go ahead and say The Exorcist is my all time favorite horror movie.

Other greats high on my list include:
Night of the Living Dead (I also enjoyed all of the official sequals, but the original is my favorite)
The Thing
The Shining
Poltergeist
Jaws
Texas Chainsaw Massacre

and of course the greats that spawned a million crappy sequals:
Halloween
Friday the 13th
Nightmare on Elmstreet

Can I suggest one that isn't from the 80s?

Dead Alive (1993)

From the 80s I would pick "the Thing."
Back in MY day we lived on the moon and we had to build a rocket ship from scratch to get to the Earth before we suffocated.

Since I could spend all night answering this, I'm not even going to name one, because then I'll feel the need to add more.

Let's just say I'm a huge horror fan, especially stuff from the late 60s, entire 70s, and most of the 80s.

Its not an 80's film.  It's shot at the time of 1980's.

I was just being funny.

Just ignore me, I'm getting old.   :dizzy:

I thought we already threw out the 80s rule, that's why I didn't get it.
