LANable Mame software
« on: September 18, 2008, 04:57:19 pm »
Is there software out there that will allow me to LAN to mame arcade machines together and play 2-player fighters over a network?

I ask because I plan on building Lindberg style arcade cabinet next summer, but only big enough for one player for now. But later on I will build a 2nd and network the 2 together.

Is that doable with emulators?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

I've never tried it, so I can't answer any questions, but it looks like Kaillera supports Mame .119
