Happ Controls Vision Pro
« on: September 16, 2008, 01:02:00 am »
I am thinking about buying a couple of Happ Controls Vision Pro CGA horizontal  shelf mount analog monitors for replacements.  The price is right as they are on sale until the end of the month for $135 plus shipping.  Anyone have any experience with them or heard any critiques?  I am sure they are made off-shore of the USA but these days what isn't?

Plenty of people have reviewed and commented on them not only here but on KLOV forums and the rec.games.video.arcade.collecting newsgroup.

So, you can spare the time to tell me people have commented about them but not the time to tell me even one sentence good or bad about what was said?  What a moron.

You are new so:
FYI, Ken Layton is a technician and an expert in monitor repair.  He often provides much needed repair advice free of charge on this and other boards.  You will not get much help or respect around here by calling him a moron.

Here's a remarkably helpful thread I found by copying this thread's title and pasting it into the search tool at the top of the page.

Have a great day.

MinerAl...YOU ROCK!!!!    Finally,  I got a response that ACTUALLY tells me what I need to know!  Not some windbag know-it-all response by the so-called MASTER TECH!  He could have done what you did too.   Am I lazy?    YES!     But that was my thread.  Don't respond unless you can give USEFUL information.  It seems EVERYBODY wants to respond to every thread that everybody else writes just so they can pad to their own post total.  (QRZ and Ummon come to mind)    THANKS MinerAL!!!     LIVE LONG AND PROSPER!!!

Dude, get real. And I say this before noticing any mention of myself in your post.

Your name calling and poor attitude just earned you a three day vacation.  Take this time to grow up a bit.

Yeah, useless info like telling me to find a phone number in a phone book.

Where else would you tell someone they could find a phone number?

Oh yeah, that's right.  You'd tell them other places they could find the exact information they were looking for.

The nerve of Ken, hey?  Jeeshcrackers ::)

I'd just like to say that I claim ownership of 'jeeshcrackers' and expect royalties for each and every time it is used.

Hopefully his new location has access to the Google.com. What a fool.

First, you'll have to demonstrate said ownership.  Second, you'll have to sue me Christian :yikes
