« on: September 11, 2008, 12:06:26 pm »
Hello Everyone,
I Have been lurking on this site for the past 6 years, and this is my first post.
I plan to build a Nintendo cabinet from scratch, with a few modifications, Put in an Original DK PCB with the DKII daughter board. But Before I get building I recently Purchased an Untested DK board off EBay.
I was hoping one of you could help me test the board in your cabinet. So If Sommeone is willing Around Corning, Elmira, or Ithaca New York.  Please help me get this project Started.

I'd help, but I'm in Southern VT.    You could send me the board and I could test it in my cab.  Two board set or four board set?  Mine also has the connectors on the board, not the edge connector.

How long has it been since you've ordered (and paid, I presume) for your DKII kit from thisoldgame?  Just curious because I ordered and paid for mine in July and have yet to receive it.  It's been promised 'any week now' for quite some time.....

It's been the same for me.  I'm not worried, though; he does excellent work.  And he keeps making "bonus" pieces, like the metal plate for the back of the cab.

OK, cool.  As long as there's more than one of us in the same boat then I do not feel so bad.  I will say this - the entire kit looks first-rate and I'm very anxious to get it... I just wish he had been further along with production before it went on sale.

I ordered my kit from This Old Game around September 14th or so.
I'm not worried at all and ordered believing it would be around late November before I got my kit.
He didn't tell me this I just assumed cause good work takes time. ;D
I'm just happy I bit the bullet and ordered it, before he gets rid of the pre-order pricing, which at last check is still available.
