CPWizard Customization Help
« on: September 09, 2008, 04:22:28 pm »
I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure a way to directly edit the menu GUI in CPWizard.

I've got the standard MaLa info window replaced with CPWiz menu view, but would like to change the CPWiz menu to match that of my FE.

I can edit the following files:
Bak.png
CPWizard.png
IconDefault.png
IRCBak.png
MenuBak.png

But how do I change their positioning? How do I specify what font is used?

And is it just me, or does directly editing the above files affect the overall performance of CPWiz, regardless of how careful I am with filesize?

HK, how do you have such purty fonts in your screenies when all I get is Courier?

The menu inside CPWizard has nothing to do with the menu in Mame when you press TAB (and the one shown in that screenshot).

To change the font in Mame you need to install a different font file. You can find a collection of fonts here.

Arrgh, font support began in 107 with the video rewrite. I'm using 106...

So, if I understand correctly, CPWiz pulls it's font selection from MAME?

No that screenshot is from Mame not CPWizard, you can't change the font in CPWizard at the moment.
