Hmm... Guilty Gear X is a pretty well known fighter, especially in japan, like Guilty Gear XX 2 or something like that is coming out, that's an extra version of XX in the arcade, my bro's been updating me in that field.
Btw, Rage of the Dragons has a hella simplisitic combo system, since every character is the same pretty much, just knock up into the air, follow the combo guide, go to next character, knock into air, do combo guide, knock off wall, do combo guide, 75% damage.
I'd say one of the least known fighters ever is Groove on Fight. It's Power Instinct 3, but its freaaakin bizarre, my bro bought it for the Saturn a few years ago, and its good, but VERY VERY strange. If you can get your hands on a .iso of it, definitely burn and try it out.
