ok first of all i just wanted to explain that i'm building a coffee table top control panel for two with all the bells and whistles. i'm mounting a PC inside of it. in an attempt to save some cash i went with an ok mobo:
XFX MG-61Mi-7059 Motherboard - nForce 610i/7050, Socket 775, MicroATX
with an Intel Celeron Dual Core E1200 1.6Ghz 512K 800Mhz FBS, and Patriot 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz.
Since the idea behind my panel is to be an arcade in a box and somewhat portable i wanted to make sure it would hook up to any kind of tv. i decided to drop $25 on a EVGA GeForce FX 5200 Video Card - 128MB DDR, PCI, DVI, S-Video TV Out card. So now i should be good for VGA, DVI/HDI, and S-Video...
Now that is inferior to my on board video correct? So by installing this card will the on board power be useless or will i simply gain the DVI, S-Vid output without sacrificing graphic power?
thanks for any help guys.
