Has any1 seen these new DVD discs of dragon lair?

I know a few people are waiting for a proper laserdisc emu for the pc to run it but has any1 thought of getting 1 of these dvd's?

Also you could make a dragon lair cab for $230 ($50 cab $100 dvd and $30 dvd disc and $50 on ART) altho it might cost a bit more it is still possible.

But what i wanna know is do u guys hate the dvd version of it cause its not the orignal (altho it has been made the exact same with solby digital sound and dvd picture quality)

I only notied this as they r selling the dvd in australia

I saw a couple of those for sale on Ebay in Australia but when you look at the box it says DVD video, apparently this is a ---smurfy--- version you need the DVD Rom version which is available at Digital Leisure.

You can buy the DVD and use a program called DVD2Daphne, that will automatcially rip the MPEGS and OGG files from the DVD for use with the Daphne emulator.  Search the board.  It's been discussed before.  It works very well.

There are several versions of the DVD running around.  For one thing, ONLY the DVD-ROM version is considered "any good".  The DVD-VIDEO versions, which run on PS2's and xboxes, are absolute crap...and those are the ones you see selling for $10 bucks a pop.

I dont think its that people hate it, its that most of the versions play terribly..slow..choppy.  The DVD-ROM one is the only one that was any good, and last I heard it was pretty hard to find.......
Or you had to order it direct for something absurd like $50 bucks.
