Here we go again - vertical question
« on: June 09, 2003, 08:43:44 am »
I have a horizontal monitor in my cab, which ofcourse display all the horizontal games really nice. Now, there's allot of cool vertical games out there too that I really would love to play. I got some of them displaying nicely, with a letterbox in the sides though, but that does not bug me that much. I have problems with some of the vert games though. When they come up on the screen they look like they're squeezed down some inch. The graphics look terrible, and the game isn't playable at all. And what I do not understand is, that if I play the vert games on my pc it looks ok, but on the arcade it looks like ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---.

I know this topic has been up before, but couldn't find the old thread.

Anyhow, is there any solution outthere how to get all the games displaying nicely on an arcade-monitor? Even though vert-games will be in letterboxes, I just hate it that it squeezes it so it looks crap!

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Thanks
