Betson Multisync default settings?
« on: July 29, 2008, 12:31:13 pm »
I've had my Betson multisync for a couple of years, and I want to tweak my settings again.  I'd like to start from the beginning and go from there.  Does this monitor have a reset to factory default setting?

Yes.  In the user menu, selecting the "Recall" option will reset all the user settings to the defaults (matching the service mode settings).  On this monitor, the user mode settings are just deltas from the service mode settings.  If you enter service mode, it will also reset all the user mode settings back to the defaults so that the behavior will match what you set up in service mode.

If you have tweaked the settings in service mode, you're kinda SOL.  I can give you all of my defaults as well as my tweaked settings, but they do vary by monitor.

Thanks for the reply.  I haven't messed with the service mode settings.  Basically I've been tooling with the screen geometry for months now, and while it's not bad, I'd like to try again.  I didn't know the original starting values, so I was hoping there was a reset to default.

Your answer will help me a lot. :)
