I've tried nestopia and a few other emulators for different systems that don't load full screen. I know you can tell nestopia to load full screen once opened, but it doesn't save that setting, so every time you use it, you have to make it full screen.

How are you guys getting around this issue?

I haven't run into an emu you couldn't put into fullscreen.  For nestopia, you should have a file called nestopia.cfg with the following line:

Code: [Select]
-preferences start in fullscreen : yes

Yeah, most emulators have command line options to tell the app to start fullscreen.
