That was cheesier than any Doctor Who episode ever! They should have at least hid the dude's feet on the bottom of the Daleks!

I don't really remember these guys at all back when this single was out, but I did see a documentary about them (the KLF) and how they burnt a million quid (all the money they earned from their music).

1st. I think it was meant to be cheesy.
2nd. have you seen the story arc "the tenth planet" it is the first appearance of the cybermen and is cheesier than anything I have seen about doctor who.
3rd. I have the song, but have never seen the video, until now.

I don't get it. Except for the Dalek, how is this related to Doctor Who?

A big chunk of the music is the Doctor Who Theme.

That's like asking "How is Madonna's Like a Virgin related to Virgins."

I recommend you see the movie Reservoir Dogs to see Tarentino's explanation.

Small bit of trivia, at the time there was talk of the KLF being done for destroying government property when they burnt the cash.

???  why 'guess so'? the tune uses the doctor who theme, mixed with gary glitters 'rock and roll'. even with the gary glitter part, they have substituted the words 'rock and roll' with 'doctor who, the tardis'...

I always stump people when I play "3 am eternal".  Nobody can remember who did that song, but most people remember it.
