Suitcase MAME
« on: July 10, 2008, 06:14:36 pm »
While my First Arcaid stands by for a while, I am starting a new, more basic project for the upcoming HOPE conference on the 19th. This will be a MAME setup, with an LCD monitor, built into a hard suitcase. I have found a suitcase, or, actually, a case. It was the carrying case for my father's Magnavox Odyssey Pong Machine. I also have a 15" LCD monitor, a set of joysticks and buttons, and a keyboard hack ready to go. All I need now is a smaller PC to run it on. I don't even have anything  mATX in the house, so this will be my only expenditure (hopefully.) I want it to look plain on the outside, so it will not be getting paint or anything. I'll get a picture up of the case soon.

I'd like to see the case when you get pics... I love the Odyssey.  It's one of the only pieces I never did find.

Here's pics of the sort-of clean case (due to the pattern in the plastic, its very hard to clean.)
