Making a video pokie and black jack machine
« on: July 03, 2008, 09:13:02 am »
Ok, so here is my first post on this forum and I have some questions.

Ive recently decided to make a bartop pokie(video slots) and blackjack machine for my uncle and cousins use. My uncle has been asking me I can get blackjack to work on my arcade cab and my cousin likes to play the pokies, so ive decided to create well, a bartop version. Now, my questions.

1) Where can i get a version of a pokie machine emulator or something that can run on a low end pc (like 1.8ghz or sumfin like that) that is similair to modern pokie machines.

2) How can I go about getting a blackjack program that would work like the video ones where you put in cash and that?

So yea, those are the problems. I have everything else figured out but before I go buying anything I want to check if I can get that stuff first.

Ive heard of that fruit emulator but after going on the site I cant seem to find any specs/requirements and it looks like its only for the old 3 barrel one arm bandits, not the modern stuff

I'm guessing your aussie perhaps?

Anyway here is a place that had emulator for fruit machines (pokie machines)

http://www.fruit-emu.com/forums/

Only thing you won't be able to do is actually recieve money sadly

Only reason i think your aus is australia uses the term pokies eg.

US = Slot Machine
AUS = Poker Machine
UK = Fruit Machine

Anyway that should get you

Here is another site that tells you how pokies cheat but also has emu and a rom as an example

Yea i am an aussie.

The fruit emu that I was talking about in the first post was the one you linked to. I am actually wanting a more modern one. From what I can see the fruit-emu you linked to only runs the old 1 arm bandit type machines. What I am looking for is the more modern machines. The ones that have the free spins and the black and red or suit features and stuff like that.
