using daphne

got a question about this emu, i ve just downloaded the latest version and i have the dl2 rom set iso,
i will be using this will mala or another front end.

problem is, how do i get it to run? ive put frame file in frame, the rom file in rom and i am going to put the game as
a virtual drive, what do i do if i havent got the original disk to insert? i take i  i need this?

if i get original disks how do i swap the games once they are as vdrives in a fe?

i had a old vers of daphne but doesnt support dl2
