but I did get ahold of MK3fan he is going to send me out some pics of his cab and some Mk4 sideart pics of Quan Chi can't wait to get them and again thanks MK3fan for helping us out

i am paying a local designer here in malta to do the artwork. i have an mk4 cab but it got damaged during transport. so he took some raw pics with his nikon camera, and reconstructed it. now we will print it locally. all i know is that it is coming very expensve hehe, but worth every penny.

I hope that you can get the sideart printed. Thats the only thing I need to make my mk1 cabinet look perfect... its a little faded on the left side. GOOD LUCK I sure would like to see that become available I'm sure there are many others that want it as well.

I'm still working on a vector version If any one can get me some straight on camera shots or even better a scan I would have alot easier of a time Keep in mind I did get some shots from mike but they were to skewed to work with i did contact him for better pics but never received a response back I'm looking to do both a vector and a raster version

Sorry I haven't done this yet. I can't use my scanner as the lid won't come off. I need to move my cab before I can take pictures, it's currently in the corner on a 45 degree angle.

Thanks for all the work you guys are putting into getting this artwork sorted out. The owner of dedicated MK cabs with faded and ripped side-art will breathe a sigh of relief once it's done.

Well Gatsu, if your offering to do the clean up I will take the time and scan my cabinet. I has scratches and stuff like that in the art but I will scan both sides. So if your missing a chunk of art you can get the piece of art you need form the other side. I don't mind doing the work of the scanning as long as I get a copy of the final cleaned artwork. Hey, guys I just had to post this up when I saw this. This was so funny to me. In the new Mortal Kombat vs DC game Liu Kang has a fatality where he drops an original MK game on is opponent. Apparently nobody at the current time even Midway has a repro of the correct MK side art!! LOL!!!

I have this on XBox 360. I'll have to look up the finishing move and try it out. Thing is, they seem to ALWAYS omit Johnny Cage when they have this cabinet in a game fatality. Wasn't the MK1 cab dropped onto your opponent in another MK installment? Maybe they'd have to pay him some money. But then again, Raiden (Carlos Pesina) is on the MK2 cab in a fatality? Hmm.

Well I thought I would give a progress update and a small preview pic. So far it's coming along nicely I was able to get it stitched up and fit to the proper dimensions now i'm working on the blemishes and tears the most time consuming part of the project also sorry about the review pic, it's a terrible quality wise the original size of the image is over 700mb so I used the printscreen option for the preview enjoy
