Monitor Mounting
« on: June 30, 2008, 09:43:34 pm »
Hi there,

A couple of years ago I bought a MAME cabinet that someone was getting rid of.  They told me I had a 25" monitor in it, and I really didn't stop to measure, etc.  Mostly, this has been in storage.

Imagine my surprise tonight when I took the monitor out and thought "that sure is a big 25"...

Yeah, because it's 29".

So, I'm shocked--and in the good way.  However, now comes the problem:  How do I mount this sucker in my MAME cabinet (it's the II from mameroom that I got in 2005).

Mameroom has a kit for a 27" monitor that I'd not worry about doctoring to fit, if someone thought it would work--I can handle a saw and a drill, so I'm not sweating that too much either.

The monitor is:

Just for anyone who's curious.  And, of course, I'd take feedback on that, too.

Thanks!
