Yep.  I think Columbus and Indy both got spared ice, but we've got close to a foot of snow.  That's easier to deal with than ice.

Gonna be 60 here, which means it'll take me a quarter mile or so before I'm warmed up enough in my shorts and t-shirt to not be chilly.   Oh well, thus is life.  ;)

(nobody's holding a gun to your head and forcing you people to live there)

I'm not complaining and a reason not to live down there is you. :duckhunt

You can't get any beer here at gas stations. No problems with that in Germany, France and Belgium. I hate our over-regulating government !

Damn! 3.2%...I'd rather have a coke. I like beer that "tastes" like well...good. I understand light beer for what it is and I'm fine with that but The brewing process that makes beer that I like usually makes it 6-9% Mmmm Double IPA...Tasty.

That said Even Michelob Ultra is 4% And at half the calories of a coke...there is a reason to drink it. (It doesn't tast half bad.)

Appie XL has similar opening hours as the gas station nowadays including all liquor store! And there is the 24/7 Turk.

I haven't been to work all week thanks to this weather. Undrivable in Oklahoma.

I've never been able to understand why people live in that state.

There's no economy, a gigantic poor population, a social norm of 'be as obnoxiously conservative as you can in public', and the weather is terrible.

Oklahoma City is the only place I've been where a complete stranger felt compelled to approach me at a gas station and tell me how excessive my lifestyle was because I had an arcade game in the back of my truck.  Never gotten more than a "Wow, cool!" anywhere else.

Oh and the 11oz beer with the added 1oz of water is awesome, too.

I live in this state because I have an awesome wife, a great job, and I don't drink, so the beer is a non-issue. If I'd seen you with a cab in your truck, I would've said, "Dude, that's awesome!"

Power went off at my house in Ky. this morning at 4:30 AM.
Needless to say, I overslept and was late for work.
It came back on around 3:00 PM, but many many houses are dark around this county.
My son in Ohio County has no power, and I hear Elizabethtown is out.
Also trees are broken everywhere.
I have a big cedar tree at the edge of the back yard that lost its top 1/3. Naturally it fell on my side of the property line, so I got a job waiting for me when all this crap melts.
The rest of the trees look ok. I even have a bradford pear that hasnet broken... yet.
Bradford pears usauley fall down in a breeze so go figure.

Yep, I lost one about 2 years ago.  Weak trunks and top heavy doesn't make them built to withstand a bird landing on them let alone a 2 mph wind....  Surprised the ice hasn't knocked it down.

Just checked the top of my PBR: It has an OK: on the top... Does this mean OK+ ? PBR in maine is 4.7%, so it might mean that.... (Always wondered what the OK was on top, all other imprints are for what can deposit one can get (IE in ME it is 5 cents per can).

Power is out at my house since about 11 Tuesday night. It may not be on until Sunday. It is a ---smurfy--- mess in my area. Staying at the in-laws sucks! I had a bunch of arcade and garage work to do this week!!!!!!!!

I'm in Louisville.
Grateful to still have electricity, many here don't, almost a half-million out in KY yesterday!  State of emergency, governor issued a price gouging warning.  Most people here are cool and really helpful in an emergency, but there is always some ahole trying to take advantage.  This stuff brings out the best and worst in people for sure.  Going out soon to face the masses for groceries, wish me luck!
