EmuMovies Announces Two New Team Members!

I know things have been quiet around here for a bit, but it doesn’t mean that big things have not been happening behind the scenes.  I am not quite ready to announce some of the suprises that I have in store but news should be springing up over the next few weeks and beyond as work progresses.  But I did want to take a moment to announce some new members to the EmuMovies team.

First I would like to introduce you to Shannon who is now taking care of all orders and ftp accounts, basically customer service.  She is making sure that instead for the average 10 days to get an order shipped now turnaround times are 2 to 5 days.  And she is also managing the timely setup of all ftp accounts for our sites supporters.  I am very excited to have her on board and I am sure everyone else is too She can be reached via e-mail - cotas@emumovies.com

Secondly I would also like to welcome -=Flash=- to the team, flash is currently producing content that is computer related.  So far he has redone the vectrex videos, and is currently neck deep on the spectrum collection.  His work can currently be found on the FTP but will soon be added to the other distribution methods as well.  I imagine -=Flash=- will be posting news items on his progress, and I must say it is a giant relief to have someone so committed (at least he should be) joining the project!

PD has had it up for a while now. But seriously, spend the $20: you get so much more and actually donate to the person that made this all possible...

The torrent links have been updated for mame, i have also added tons of new content to the site, so enjoy!

Are the new torrent's going on PD?

Circo: Maybe you should start up a member only tracker for the torrents? Not sure how hard it is to set up a tracker but I would prefer torrents over ftp anyway and it would take some load off your server.

Headkaze, that a good idea. I would make life a bit more simple by not searching for update files which takes time using ftp

Also is there a dat file available for the mame hq emumovies for use on clrmamepro?

I haven't had ftp access long enough to experience updates, but isn't sorting by date a quick and simple way to just get the updated files? If so, I'm content with that.

BTW, I assume that those of us with ftp access will get emails whenever updates are posted to the ftp server?
