Dusted off my PSP, what have I missed?
« on: June 24, 2008, 09:46:37 am »
My PSP has been sat in my drawer for a year or so since I got my DS and I thought I would get it out and see whats new.

The last firmware I had on it was 3.03 OEA so that means I last used it about May last year. I've just upgraded to 3.71 M33 with the 1.5 kernal addon. I think thats as far as I can go without a Pandora's battery.

I picked up Lego Indianna Jones last night and im also going to get Metal Slug Anthology.  Are there any other major games or apps/emulators etc that have come out in the past year or so that I should check out?

God of War is def. worth a look if you like the franchise.

Also, if you're already a 3.71M33 there's no reason you can't update to the lastest M33 f/w's.  you only need Pandora if you have an unflashed PSP.

FW 4.00 is due out this week and will supposedly include a save-state option.

Incidentally, my brother just gave me his.  Never had one before.  What's the best site(s) to scour for info relating to firmwares and batteries and whatnot?

I got Mame running on mine
very limited # of games that actually work, but pretty cool to have donkey kong where ever I go!
God of War is pretty cool too
do any of you have issues running demos with the hack software?
Mine don't work

If you have custom firmware then why not just download the *cough* full demo *cough* to evaluate?
