If this situation really went down the way this has been reported, I am SO glad that the cop killed this 27 year old piece of trash.   Unfortunately they didn't get to them before this child was killed, but at least the  who did it  is D.R.T.

California really has gone to hell. Police are still looking for the  sucker that shot that baby strapped in his car seat.

Good riddance to bad rubbish with this ---uvula---. But, I think shooting him was too quick of a punishment, the officer should have kept him alive. Throw the ---uvula--- in jail, that puss wouldn't have lasted more than six months. I can only imagine how many hard criminals would be itching to get their hands on a baby beater.

P.S., there's been an update to the story. The murderer has a name and there's a short explanation of what else had happened. To save those with a weak stomach. The man (he doesn't deserve to be named here) had

total hollowness in his eyes

and claimed the boy to be a demon and was trash.

Just before the officer shot him in the forehead, the murderer had the gall to flip the officer off.

IF they even try to throw this officer off the force, I may have to find the money to fly to California and protest myself.  The cop did exactly what he should have done to this piece of garbage treating a 2 year old like this...I don't care if the adult was on meth, crack, mary jane, whiskey, etc.  He literally asked for the bullet tween the eyes with his actions toward the kid and the cop (flipping the cop off).

The cop did exactly the right thing.  But WTF is this?  You don't need to assume that people are low-lives just because their skin color is different than yours.  Neither this guy's race, nor his status as an American citizen makes him more or less likely to beat his kid to death.  I can find you plenty of examples of White Americans who do this kind of thing, specifically ones who have killed their allegedly possessed children.

Looking through news reports I don't see any mention of his immigration status, just that he had a steady job at the local grocery store where he was described as a good employee who worked hard.  I don't know many stores that would give interviews regarding illegal employees, so I'm betting he was a legal American citizen...who got what he deserved.

I don't think that the officer who did the shooting would be in too much trouble. The best anyone might get on the officer is not following police procedure or maybe not acting quick enough to save the life of the child. Both would be tenuous charges at best and any lawyer who wants to press charges against this officer is going to receive a lot of flak.

Any word on the mother of the child?

I was discussing this with my GF and she brought up an interesting point. Where is the mother? Why didn't she report the child missing? I positted that he might have done something to the mother as well.
