polo2 & arcade vga

hi just got a arcade vga2 pcie version, do i need a video amp to connect to this monitor? also would 1 be required for a polo 1?

both polo1 and 2 should cope o.k with an avga card signal,they can go as low as 1volt -may need to turn up contrast/brightness etc
