IMP 44-4070-RT - Problem playing Windows games

I have a Betson 27" Arcade/PC monitor (IMP - 27" DIGITAL MULTI SYNC RAW THRL) and it runs at a max resolution of 800x600 (Running at 60Hz). It works great and looks especially good with MAME and Windows but the problem I have is that when I try to run a windows game like Bejeweled 2, the screen goes black and a message appears on the screen (very briefly) that flashes. It says something about the refresh rate but it doesn't say that it can't display it, near as I can tell, it just displays the variable refresh rates the monitor can do. I have changed my resolution and refresh rate to every possible option and I can't get it to work! This is driving me nuts!!!

If anyone has the same monitor and doesn't have this problem, please let me know how you fixed it or if there is anything I can do!
