Suggestions for new cab please

OK I'm in the processs of rebuilding my cabinet. I was running Advmame on a 1 ghz p3 under Dos. I have a generic 25" monitor from Tekken 2 machine. The previous system was dual boot for Win98(Dos) and XP and a switch to change from PC to Arcae monitor.

Now I have an Athlon XP2200, Radeon 7000 and plenty of ram. I want the best performance I can get and at least the same picture quality I got from Advmame. I also would like to run some Windows games on a seperate moinitor possibly.

Am I loosing any performance because of Advmame under DOS or should I run Windows Mame?

If I run under Windows what is the cheapest way it will work with the arcade monitor? If anyone suggests Powerstrip is there a guide to the setting to adjust?

Will this setup run most games?
