I found posts about fixing plywood corners and water damaged bottoms by using bondo or cutting out and replacing damaged parts, but was wondering if there were any folks with experience fixing up particle board corners.
I don't have a shop or a plethora of tools, but was pretty handy in woodshop 20 years ago and have built an oak fireplace mantle and some misc stuff since. I have some basic woodworking tools and am not against buying a few things that I'd use around the house if necessary. The only experience I've had with particle board was building car audio subwoofer boxes back in the 80s and 90s.
Below are pics of what I have now. Do you think this is fixable, or should I just buy corner protectors and be done with it for $20 and 10 minutes of my time? I'm not looking for a show piece, but I am getting more attached to this cabinet and might try "prettying it up" a bit some day.
Thanks!!
