Huge Spreadsheet of Multisync Monitor Specs
« on: May 27, 2008, 07:08:59 pm »
Long time listener, first time caller.

I thought I'd share with everyone the most comprehensive listing of Multisync Monitor(you know, the professional video editing monitors from the 80's/90's) specifications that I've ever found on the web.  This even beats the specs found on Monitor Worldhttp://www.monitorworld.com/monitors_home.html (sorry if the hyperlink didn't work), which I've found to be very incomplete.
The massive listing is at:
http://www.maland.com/extron/download/files/crossref/direct-view-display-xref.pdf

As we all know, some of these monitors are cabable of automatically displaying the authentic Horizontal (and vertical) low Arcade frequencies when paired with Ultimarc's ArcadeVGA card or another utility.  Now that you have this list, you can make an educated decision before making the leap to buy that monitor off ebay or craigslist... I noticed a few people on the boards bought some Sony's that aren't capable of 15.75.

Also, on a related note, I have a few different NEC 3PG/4PG remotes if anyone needs one to be cloned using a universal remote.  I'd also imagine these work with other NEC monitors...  PM me I guess, I'll figure it out eventually.

I applaud you, Leroy. That was a great finish. Not quite the ending I had in mind, but it was a great finish. You see a .45 will put an end to all this kung fu crap. All it takes is one little bullet. So take your final bow, scum sucker.  ~Eddie Arcadian - Self-proclaimed Video Game King & Bruce Leroy's Arch-Rival as seen in Berry Gordy's hit movie The Last Dragon

I thought I might get a comment or two on my UserName... but never thought it'd influence an internet purchase - cool!

Ya, I just happened to be on the internet movie database at the time I was trying to think of a good UserName for my first post... just stumbled accross this movie, had forgotten Eddie's name, but as soon as I remembered that he was the self-proclamed "Video Game King" , I had to use it.   I still have the original VHS tape somewhere...   BTW, the entire movie is on You Tube for anyone wanting to see Bruce Leroy in action again.

Sho' nuff!

I've posted this link before, actually in this forum. Someone could add it to the wiki if not there already. I went ahead and downloaded the pdf.

Officially posted to the Wiki!  I didn't know the legallity of just pasting it as a table (using maland's content), so I just linked to the page.  I linked both the massive spreadsheet and monitorworld.
