Need help finding a 19" Monitor for my Touchmaster
« on: May 26, 2008, 11:52:08 am »
I have a standup Touchmaster with a 19" monitor that is no longer working. I want to find a replacement monitor. The Touchscreen overlay still works. I only need the monitor that will slide into this machine. I also need the monitor to have a VGA connection so I can connect it to a computer.

In the manual, the monitor has the following numbers by it: 5677-14681-00.

Below is a pic of the monitor. I did some searching online, but couldn't find a replacement. Any help? I couldn't find anything online by searching the monitor number, and I don't have experience to know which monitor could be a replacement.

What's wrong with the old one that you can't fix?

I should've said...

There is no monitor.  :( I stuck a decased 19" computer monitor in it and it doesn't fit right - both the curve of the overlay and the bolts on the corners of the monitor.

I believe the Touchmaster 7000 uses a standard resolution monitor. It does not use an isolation transformer and remember the touchscreen is glued to the face of the picture tube.

Ok. I have the touchscreen that was glued to the monitor. I'm trying to find a replacement monitor to put in this unit. I figured finding a unit designed to fit the standup touchmaster would align with the bolts, allow me to use the touchscreen, and would fit the bezel.

If I could find a computer monitor to do this - I'd be in good shape. I don't plan on using this with a touchmaster board. I'm going to plug it up to a computer.
